How prepared are you for greatness?
By Pastor Matthew Kassim
"Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” Genesis 41: 39-40 (NKJV).
Bible Readings: Genesis 37, Psalms 105: 19, Psalms 23.
A lot of us read the bible and not study it.
Joseph was not blessed by his father Jacob, but Abraham and Isaac blessed him. You are not working or achieving to be great because you are already born great. God has given us the greatness as we were born but we have to work towards it to get there.
Along the pathway of greatness, there are stumbling blocks. Information gives you illumination. If you are not informed, you'll be deformed. Pressure, pain and difficult situations bring out the best in you. On your path to greatness, you'll stumble over so many things, you'll fall.
How do you handle disappointments? You must be able to stay positive. Whatever you are going through today, is a formula for you to be able to solve whatever comes on your way to your greatness. You might be in a place where you feel forgotten and neglected but God will use someone to send for you. The level God is taking you to you must be dressed to be addressed in that level. If you have understanding of where God is leading you and taking you to, you will not abort it prematurely, you will not give up or loose hope. Your rough edges is so you can fit into a particular destiny. God is setting you up for greatness, but don't ignore what you are going through because it will be of help to you on the way. Whatever you are going through, God has a plan for you! For you to get to your greatness, God must trust you.
When you are going through a situation, the best thing to do is to navigate and face the light.
