"When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimeah, David’s brother, killed him. These four were descendants of Rapha in Gath, and they fell at the hands of David and his men.” - 2 Samuel 21:21-22
Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 18:1-12, 1 John 3:2
Note: Three Things You Need to Succeed:
- A Clear Vision
- A Great Team (Dress 11, Play 8, Trust 3): Play 3 just as Christ took only 3 (Peter, James and John) up the mount of transfiguration. Peter was a rock, you need someone who can be stand firmly by your side and believes in you. John was beloved, you need someone who loves you unconditionally. James was a committed believer, you need someone who is diligent and ready to do what it takes.
On the mount of transfiguration, Christ met Elijah and Moses. These two prophets had already climbed their own mountain and Christ was just gearing on to climb his own mountain (Calgary). You need to surround yourself with people who know the ropes and have achieved what you are aiming for.
Delete, from your life, those people that are hindering your progress, peace and praise. Make the decision to be God's choice, not the people's choice. One of the ways to achieve the appointment you have been called to is to refuse to listen to negative people.
When God gives you a victory, you can be sure that it is a total victory. David killed one giant but he is credited with the death of the other four. That is total victory.
We are the game changing generation. We've got next and the next is now. Start thinking about now and stop looking for next. Use what you have now.
David used one stone to kill Goliath. That little moment paved his way to his throne. He was the next big thing. You are the next big thing and your Next is Now!
