Leaving Your Now To Your Next

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!”(which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly." - Mark 7:31-35 (NIV)

Bible Reading: Mark 5:20, Hosea 1:10

Your Now isn't a place for you to stay put. Every time you get to your now, there's a provision for your next. You have to be ready to leave your now and move on to your next for you to experience a change. Until you release your past, you cannot reach your future.

There is a place humanity cannot take you but divinity can. Location and positioning are very important. Sometimes, you have to separate people from those around them to help them. When God wants to do something special with/for you, he separates you from certain places/faces. Don't be afraid if it seems like you are alone, God is about to do something special.

Your Next is where Jesus takes over. To move to your next, you have to allow God take total ownership of your life. Let Go and Let God.
