"So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." - Matthew 17:20 (NKJV)
Bible Reading: Romans 12:3, John 12:24, Daniel 3:8, 1 Timothy 6:12
Don't expect God to use you, if you aren't active. Imagine Matthew, who left what he was doing (tax collection) to follow Jesus - who had no where to lay his head - that is faith! Matthew had faith in Christ but Christ met him while he was active.
There is a measure of faith. To Jesus, faith is a mustard seed. Until you apply your seed , it is useless. You may have faith and things wouldn't still work out for you. You have to exercise your faith to see results. Your faith is useless and full of potential until it is planted.
Many of us have faith like a mustard seed but we are stuck at that. Your faith is not meant to be shelved but planted. Your faith is not meant to be stored but stirred up. Being lazy prevents you from stirring up your faith.
Faith is not a thing you have done, it is something you keep doing. Give your faith an assignment. Until you apply your faith, you can never know what you carry. Until you speak by faith, your faith isn't planted. Nothing happens until you do the work. When you speak, people may not see it but when the result comes out, people see it. Keep speaking by faith.
No matter how adverse the conditions of the soil may be, a mustard seed strives. When a mustard seed germinates, it produces:
⁃ Antiseptics: physical, spiritual, emotional and financial healing for those around you.
⁃ Abrasives: puts your life at ease
⁃ Detergent: makes you feel brand new
Faith without works is dead. Put your faith into action. Exercise your faith!
