"And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets." Hebrews 11: 32 (NKJV).
Bible Readings: 1 Timothy 6: 12.
Life is a game!
Life is like a game and people feel like when they don't make it initially, they are too late. Many people have been friendly at the first quarter of the year and the enemies have been taking advantage of you. The reason why you are being friendly with the devil in the first quarter is because you think everything will work out.
When you understand the gravity of what is ahead of you, you stop being too nice. Know when to, how to and where to be good. By the second quarter you become familiar. You are not in the game to be friendly or familiar, you are there to fight and finish. Along the line, in the third quarter, fear comes in and grips your heart and you start thinking about what you have done previously.
If you are going to win the battles, it's not because of you, but God will cause your enemies to make mistakes that will work in your favour. Those mistakes will make you start advancing in what you were not able to do in the previous quarters. In the forth quarter, you receive faith to finish. When everyone says you can't do it, somehow you have faith. You need faith that turns disadvantage to advantage. You may have faith to start but you also need faith to finish.
Today's complacency is tomorrow's captivity. Today's thankfulness, it's tomorrow's fruitfulness. Life doesn't give you what you desire but it gives you what you place a demand on.
In spite of your mistakes, there is a God of comeback.
