Faith that changes perspectives

By Pastor Matthew Kassim

"And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Mark 2: 4-5 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Mark 2: 1-12, Hebrews 11, James 14: 17, Philippians 4: 6.

Faith cannot be over emphasized. You are not here by coincidence because there is a purpose why you are here. From the day you are conceived, you have the power to succeed. Faith brings us into the realm of God. Faith gives us hope. Faith brings us from darkness to light.

Tradition makes you believe that you have to go through the door but when the door is shut, you think it is impossible to get in. When you get to a place and you can't find the way in, it's time for you to change perspective. Don't look down on yourself. Don't give up!

When God brings you to a point and you feel like you can't move forward, it's because God wants you to look up. Expand your mind, think bigger. If the door is shut, look up because that is where your help is from. Your faith without works will not bring result. God wants us to be sensitive in the spirit but because we are affected by what we are going through, we become insensitive. Only though the situations and challenges you encounter can your faith be seen. No matter the situation, all you need is to look up and when you get there, go down on your knees and talk to God, and let your perspective change.

You have a friend in Jesus that is taking you to the top. The friends you need are the ones that take you to the top.

⁃ Father as long as I know you are in a place, help me to not leave until I get my miracle.

⁃ Lord, let me see with the eyes of God not with the way men see.

⁃ Lord open my eyes to see opportunities where others see oppositions.
