God, in my dry places

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds." Numbers 17: 8 (NKJV).

Bible Readings: 1 Kings 17, Ezekiel 37: 11, 2 Kings 6, Psalms 29: 10, Isaiah 40.

Dryness is a reality that comes in life. Everybody goes through a dry phase. You may be going through your dryness because it's a season. What happens when your life is experiencing dryness? When you go through dryness, you can do anything.

The worse part is experiencing dryness without God. The season of dryness is not the issue, it is what you are doing during that period and those that are around you. People cause dryness so if you are with those type of people, you will experience dryness. Who do you run to when things are dry? If God is in that dry situation, it will cause it to become wet. If God is in it, there is grace. If God can be in the centre of your heart, even though the situation seem dry, God can change it overnight. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

- Every time dryness is there, find out if God is with you.

- If you are in tune with God, prophecy into that dryness/ situation.

If you allow God step in, dryness disappears. When you are walking without direction, it causes dryness.
