Unleash your talent

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents." Matthew 25: 26-28 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Matthew 25: 14-28, 2 Corinthians 4: 7-8, 1 John 3: 8, Luke 19: 11, 2 Kings 4.

Everyone has been build for something.

Nobody came into this world by accident. You are in this world because are being sent for a purpose. Everybody has a talent. It is not about what is on the outside of you; it is what is on the inside that matters. People have caged what is on the inside & it's not supposed to be so. Everyone was sent for ah assignment. Your talent is not supposed to be hidden. Some people have tied their gifts.

Your natural ability was given to you to serve God but your spiritual ability was given to you to serve humanity. You have no excuse. What are you doing with what you have? What you have is not based on your strength but on God. The gift that is in you is supposed to bring you money. Some people are playing it safe so they don't want to jump.

Every star must have a scar. You can't be great in life without sustaining some kind of injuries. People will hurt you. Shut the door behind you and ask yourself what you have. You have something on the inside of you. You are not a trash, you are a treasure. Some people are waiting on God whereas God has already put in you. Don't live an average life! Nobody pays to see an average person. God has given you a talent and all you are doing is wasting it.

People's opinions about you shouldn't matter. They did not put anything in you. God never created an average. He created the best. Stop looking for people to like you. The moment you want people to like you, that is the moment you have short-mortgaged your destiny. You may be down, but it doesn't mean that you are out. Don't be lazy with the vision God has given you. The owner (God) of the talent will come back for it one day.

What are you doing with what you carry?
