Biblical principles of sowing seeds

One of the ways to achieve success is by sowing seed. A seed sown is a spiritual transaction between you and God for your replenishment and lifting.

Reasons why people don’t receive reward is because:

1. It came in what you needed the most not what you thought you needed the most. The issue is that when the harvest come, not many of us go back to ask God what seed it is for. You can’t have understanding without wisdom. God is in the business of answering our prayers and we do not know it.

2. We sow grudgingly. Once you dsow with grudge, don’t expect the grace of God to come upon you. You are supposed to sow with gladness.

3. We are not sowing exactly what God says we should sow. Once you don’t sow exactly what God says, you do not get what you want. God is not a respecter of persons. Whatever God says you should do, do it! What is God saying to you?

4. We are not sowing sacrificially. Whatever is not a sacrifice, is not acceptable.

5. We did not sow our best. Once you don’t sow your best, don’t expect his best. When God gave us Jesus, he gave us his best & when he gave us the Holy Spirit, he gave us his all. Never think you can donate to God.

6. We sow in jealousy. Let your offering be out of love, not jealousy.

7. We only sow once. Every opportunity to sow, is not an opportunity to withhold but to sow because you don’t know which one will bring reward.

8. Our cloud is not yet full. Once your cloud is full, rain must fall. Every time you give a seed, it’s an evaporation that goes up to heaven.

9. We regard the cloud, that is; we pay attention to what we reap. Our focus is more on the cloud and not the joy of the seed. When you observe the cloud, you don’t reap.

10. We don’t have the mind like the 3 Hebrew kids.

11. We give in doubts, not in faith.

12. We did not obey promptly. When God says something, do it!

13. Sow because you love God. When you do, you will reap in ways you never imagined. You can give without loving, but you can never love without giving. Give God lovingly.

14. We did not sow on fertile ground.

15. We sowed and the devil planted and it affected the harvest.

16. We sowed and did not tie it to anything. Sow expecting something.

17. We try to negotiate our seed with God and we end up not sowing all.

18. Once we sowed, some of us went to dig where we sowed by what we do or say. Be careful what you say concerning your seed. Be careful with your attitude to God. Don’t sow a seed and go back to living a life of sin and expect a reward.

19. Some refuse to sow because they observe the wind rather than obey God.

Secrets to soaring to greater heights: The Love Factor.

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you" Matthew 5: 43-44 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Matthew 5: 43-47, 1 Peter 2: 17, John 13: 34-35.

Every life, business, person has something behind their success. There are principles they abide by. It is not what you see externally that determines how far something will go, but what is internal. If you want to fly high in life, there are certain things you have to do. Whenever you don't obey a principle, anything can happen. One of the factors for soaring high is the love factor. The real root of forgiveness comes out of love. If you don't love, you can't forgive.

There are two kinds of love; love towards God and love towards men. It takes more time to hate than to love. It costs you nothing to love but costs you a lot to hate. The energy you use to hate is not the same you use to love. There is a devil behind hate that wants to keep us grounded. "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of skin. People learn to hate and if they can learn to hate, they can learn to love" Nelson Mandela.

Hate grounds you. It is the cancer that stops one from flying. It keeps one stagnated in life. Your enemies bring out the best in you. Your enemies will remind you of your shortcomings. They tell you the truth. Your understanding of your shortcomings come from people that hate you. You must learn to rise above those that hate you. Don't try to be even with them. They can insult you now but they with envy what you have one day.

You have the capacity to forgive but to forget is a different thing. The fact that you still remember, you shouldn't let it pull you down. You cannot attract what you want, you attract who you are. Look at people that hate you and talk nasty things about you and love them. You cannot attract what you hate! When someone gives you a hard time, respond with prayers. Know how to love! When you love, you carry God.

⁃ Invite your enemies for dinner, give them a good meal.

⁃ Send them gifts.

How far do you want to rise? Love is the factor.

⁃ Lord give me grace to love my enemies.

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also." 1 John 4: 20-21 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: 1 Peter 1: 3, Revelation 5: 10, Luke 10; 25, Genesis 1: 26, 1 John 2.

The opposite of love is hate. When you hate, it affects you personally.

We are wired to be like God and God is love. We have the nature of God and therefore we are love. If you love the things that God gives you, will you claim to love God himself? You cannot claim to love the gift and the giver at the same time, one has to be paramount.

If you want to succeed in life, love God alone and not what he gives. If you love God alone, you own what he has. To succeed in life, you have to change your perspective and mindset from the gift to the giver. To love God is to love your neighbour. If you hate your neighbour that you can see, how can you say you love God when you haven't seen him? Every time you hate your neighbour, you hate God.

The love of God has no condition. It is the agape one. Love is not a choice, it is a command. If you love, you live. If you have life, you have success. You can't despise God and enjoy him at the same time. You can't look down on God and look up to him at the same time.

Jealousy, envy, and pride are some of the reasons why you hate people .

Ingredients of divine love

⁃ Love is patient: wait for their turn.

⁃ Love is kindness: never act irrationally.

⁃ Love is generous: no envy.

⁃ Love is humble

⁃ Love is polite

⁃ Love is unselfish

⁃ Love has good temper: never irritated or resentful.

⁃ Love is righteous: hates sin, never glad when things go wrong.

⁃ Love is sincere: not boastful or hypocritical.

Faith the works by love

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love." Galatians 5: 6 (NKJV)

Bible Readings:  1 Corinthians 13: 13, Ephesians 4: 30-31, Mark 11: 25, Ephesians 3: 17-20.

Faith will not work if you are not in love. Until faith is operated with love, it will not produce result.

When you operate in love, things begin to operate in your life. Favour can only manifest when there is love. One of the boosters of faith is love.

What is the motive of your faith? If it's to show off, God will not give you. You have to love God and your neighbour. Things don't happen in your life because of the bitterness you carry. When you are bitter, you can't be better. You can't claim to love God and hate other people. You have to forgive anyone that has hurt you and treat them like they haven't done anything wrong. The reason why you are not seeing results is because you hold grudges. If you want to see faith work on your life, you must be willing to let go.

There is nobody that genuinely loves that doesn't give. When you are living a life of love, you are living a life of God.

Anytime you operate out of love, you operate out of God.

Season to give

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3: 16 (NJKV)

Giving is a sacrifice. When God gave us Jesus, he sacrificed his son, when Jesus died for us, he gave us his life. In the world today, evil is around. When you look around, you will realize that the world is lacking true lovers. When Jesus came, he introduced one thing, Love! Today, you too should decide to give love. Not the kind of love that is demanding something in return but the sacrificial love. Love is what is needed in this world. Think of what you are give instead of what others can give you. Some times you can give forgiveness. Just let it go.

If something tangible comes your way, be thankful. Care for the needy. Everyone has something to give. Encourage someone. Your gift shouldn't just be during this season but all through your life.

The Benefits of Loving Him

By Arch. Bishop John Praise

"“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” ” - Psalms 91:14-16

Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 6:4, Joshua 23:11, Matthew 12:29, Jeremiah 31:3, Psalms 75:6, 1 Corinthians 2:9, Exodus 23:35, Malachi 3:8, I Kings 3:5, Revelation 4:11

The Love of God is the best thing that can happen to anyone. Loving God is a decision you have to make. It should be a life commitment.

Even when you did not know Him, He loved you. You need to understand the mystery of God's love. He paid the price on the cross for you because of the Love he has for you.

If you love God, you will receive answers to your problems. He will set you on high. He will give you supernatural elevation. You will be continuously blessed. Your limitations are based on the limit of your love for God.

If you love Him, you will serve Him, keep his commandments, worship Him accept His chastisement and love his presence.

Remember where Love is, nothing fails. Love never fails.
