Purpose

Strategies for success: Pursuing the purpose of God for your life

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, But a man of understanding will draw it out." Proverbs 20:5 (NKJV).

You are built and designed for worship. You live to worship God.

Purpose is the why of you. You can't be successful without finding your purpose in life: your nature of why you exist. Life is meaningless because people are not living in the why of their life. Some people are doing what other people are doing and expect God to answer them. We expect God to pay for what he is not sending us to do. When you follow his purpose his presence goes with us everywhere. When you are not in your why, you begin to do the how. If you don't deploy yourself to living your purpose, someone will employ you.

- You are naturally built with your purpose in you. You have to discover what you are suppose to do.

- You are designed for your purpose in mind. It is not about your size, it is about your destiny. When you understand your why, you'll stop following other peoples' why.

- Your purpose is embedded in your potential. God does not send someone to accomplish a thing without strength to do it. What you can do is in your purpose.

- Purpose reveals God's purpose for your life. You have to know whose purpose the plan you are living now, is fulfilling.

- His purpose attracts his provision. You cannot expect God to provide when you are working in a different purpose. If you want God's provision, stay in his purpose for your life.

Discover your purpose from the word of God.

No Peace Without God

By Pastor Drew Ugbogbo

"For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands." - 2 Chronicles 15:3-5 (NKJV)

Bible Reading: Zephaniah 1:1-18, 2 Chronicles 15:3-8, Psalm 40:8, Jonah 3:1-10, Daniel 1:8, Matthew 6:33, Zephaniah 2: 1-2, Philippians 4:9

Our society is in a drought. We are lacking teaching priests and not yielding to God's law but yet we want peace.

God's laws help us to understand his will and purpose for our life. In the absence of God's law, there is no peace. When you loose your peace, you have loose everything. It does not matter where you find yourself, you cannot have peace of mind if you are not living within the will of God.

When you loose your peace, you must repent, pray, be calm, seek God first, work to glorify God's name and be ready to make sacrifices of praise to Him. Be determined to serve and trust him. Without God, you cannot know peace.

Roadmap to Success

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." - Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

Our background affects the way we see things. It makes everything relative. The measure of success is relative.

To Joshua, success meant being a good leader to the children of Israel, settling disputes within and between tribes, conquering their enemies and helping the Israelites settle in a new land. To you, success might mean money, fame, children, getting your landed documents, good grades, graduation, winning souls for God, being debt free or getting married.

Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose so how can you measure success when you don't know your purpose? Whenever a purpose of thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. If you know why you purpose of working on something, you would know if it's worth it or not. Success, not money, bring fulfillment.

The cross was the Jesus' goal. For Him, that was success. Operate on the level of your success or dream. A car doesn't move like a bicycle.

Have you discovered your purpose?  Until you know where you are, you cannot know where you are going to. If you discover your purpose, you'll stop living somebody else's dream. Work hard for your own dream and be patient about it.

How will you know your purpose? Ask  yourself What ticks you off or on, what are you passionate about, what do you love doing, what do you hate? If you do not like something, why don't you work hard to change it? Why can't you be the solution? That thing you do not like or agree with may be your purpose for you being there at that time.

Keep in mind that you can never be successful without looking into God's word. You can't be successful without reading the bible. Your purpose is hidden in the bible.

Supernatural Shift

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible." - Luke 1:26-37

Whenever God wants to give you a new beginning, he sends a messengers. Angels are messengers! The word that you need is with somebody. You might have planned out your life but God comes in and interrupt that plan. Anytime God shows up to interrupt your plan, there is a conflict.

When a shifting is coming, it comes with a conflict. When God wants to take you to a shifting, he takes you to a path that no man has ever trod. Your next is now! God has chosen you to be shifted. If God says it, it would happen.

Immediately you decide to align with God, you become one with him. Anytime you get into the shift with God, he sends one to cover you. When you are being shifted by God, God will separate.

Are you ready for your shift? When the shift comes, it takes you from your comfort zone to your destiny zone. When the shift comes, it scatters your plans.
