Seed

Secrets to soaring to greater heights: The Seed Factor.

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth." 1 Kings 17: 13-14 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: 1 Kings 17: 8-15, 2 Chronicles 20: 20, Isaiah 51: 2, Galatians 2: 21, Ecclesiastics 7: 12, Genesis 11, Genesis 14: 20, Genesis 14: 14, Genesis 18: 2-10, Genesis 21, John 12: 24, John 3: 16, Genesis 22: 2-3,  2 Corinthians 9: 8, Philippians 4: 12.

Nothing is permitted to multiply or grow until it is sown as a seed. To soar to new levels, you have to create channels. Until you create channels, never expect a flow. If you want to enjoy what Abraham enjoyed, you have to do what he did. Money is a defence. If you don't have it, you can't defend yourself. For money to flow your way, you have to create channels. When God wants to bless people, he doesn't bless them in a group. It's an individual blessing in response to how their faith is activated. It's good to associate with people that are blessed as it would rub off on you. If you are a channel, there will be residue for you.

Seven channels Abraham created;

⁃ Tithe.

⁃ Feeding the homeless, less privilege, orphans, widows & widowers: The hand of the giver is always on top.

⁃ Feeding strangers: If God is going to lift you high, you must create a channel of entertaining strangers which may be angels. Your solution is in the blessing of strangers.

⁃ Offerings: When you give offerings, it brings breakthrough.

⁃ Bless the prophet God has placed over your life.

⁃ Giving for the kingdom; kingdom offerings, kingdom projects: Give towards God's house.

⁃ Giving to your parents: If you give to your parents, they will bless you. There is a blessing they will put on you if you give them.

Why are you not receiving when you give;

⁃ Give with love: You can give without loving but you can't live without giving. If you give with love, you will get it back.

⁃ Give promptly: When you give promptly, you receive promptly. Delayed obedience is disobedience.

⁃ Give cheerfully: If you give grudgingly, you will not receive.

⁃ Give willingly: God loves people who are willing. Don't give in pressure, give in pleasure.

⁃ Give on a fertile soil: To know a fertile soil, pray and ask God.

⁃ Give with an expectation.

Faith that speaks

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." Mark 11: 23 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Matthew 17: 20, Genesis 17: 5, Genesis 12: 2-3, Psalms 19, Romans 4: 20, Romans 4: 18-19, Hebrews 11: 38.

The challenge you are facing today is as a result of what you causally said yesterday. I don't know you have faith until you speak. Until you do it, it's not faith.

Whatever you say is a seed. When you sow, you must experience a harvest. The words you speak are seeds that go into your future and they will reproduce in your future. You can't say you have faith and not speak what you have faith in. The reason why things are not working for you is because you are have other options. Everywhere you see the word faith, you see the work act. If your language is not changing, your faith cannot match up. Whatever you want to see, start acting it. Anytime God wants to bless you, he goes back to see what you have been speaking.

You have to start speaking a language of faith, a language that is not common. If you are going to walk before God, your name has to change, meaning your language has to change. Even if things appear like they are not, but you speak as though they were, you are standing with God and his word will not go void. When you know your story, you won't let anyone mess with your glory.

Faith that speaks, never stay silent. Hope is the vehicle that faith needs. You have to stand in faith that whatever God has said about you will come to pass. Will you doubt what the word says or will you continue to say it? Keep saying and speaking what God is saying.

People will say things about you anyways but what are you saying about yourself?

Provoking Your Harvest

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." - John 4:35

Bible Reading: Exodus 23:16, Leviticus 23: 9-14, Deuteronomy 8:8; 11:10-11; 16:13-15, Matthew 13:4, Genesis 26:1-6, 12-14, John 2:5, 1 Samuel 15:22.

To provoke is to stir up, to stimulate, to give rise or induce or to bring about. You provoke your harvest by "calling those things which are not as though they were." (Romans 4:17)

There are certain things you need to do to provoke your harvest. You must understand and follow the principles of harvest:

  1. Whatever you sow, you shall reap, don't expect to reap what you did not sow.

  2. You reap in the same kind as you had sown.

  3. You reap in a different season from the one you had sown in.

  4. You reap more than you sow.

  5. You reap according to the proportion you have sown.

  6. You reap full harvests: There is no such thing as a partial harvest but the kind of seed you sow determines the kind of harvest you will have.

  7. You cannot do anything about last year's harvest.

Famine is a time of lack, scarcity and drought. Isaac lived in a time of famine, yet he experienced harvest. He knew, understood and followed the principles of harvest.

To provoke your harvest, you must be obedient and move by faith. Total and complete obedience to God results in speedy harvest. The heavens open up to you when you obey God wholeheartedly.

You must act and move by faith. God is not a debtor, he wants to move you forward but you must be willing to be obedient and move when he needs you to.

You may be experiencing stagnancy in an area of your life because of your disobedience or partial obedience. A delayed obedience is disobedience.

If you want to provoke your harvest, obey God.

Designed for Harvest

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest." - Ruth 1:22 (NKJV)

Bible Passage: Leviticus 26:10, Genesis 8:22, Exodus 23:16. Deuteronomy 8:8, Matthew 25, Psalms 65:3-6,  2 Corinthians 9:6, John 12:24,

Everything you see is a harvest. Every creation began as a seed, and every seed has the capacity to produce a harvest.

A harvest is a complete product. There are four harvests in a calendar year and the last one (for the last three months) is the harvest of olives. Olives produce oil, and in the spiritual realm, that indicates an anointing that comes from the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost plays a key role in the Pentecost (which stands for harvest).

Everything you see is a result of a seed you have sown. If you want to see something different, sow a different seed. If you want to change the direction of your life, you must change the seed you sow, and you should sow with an expectation.

Nothing is created to remain the way it is. If something remains static, then there is a problem with the seed. Whatever you set in motion is a seed and it will germinate.

Sow what you want to see. If you want to be rich, give. If you want to be poor, grasp. If you want to be in abundance, scatter. If you want to be needy, hoard. If you eat your seed, you eat your harvest. The seed you sow today is the harvest you reap tomorrow.

Until you sow your seed, do not expect an harvest. Until something leaves earth, nothing leaves heaven.
