Sin

Iniquity

By Apostle Mike Efezino

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53: 5 (NKJV).

Bible Readings: 2 Chronicles 20: 20, Genesis 37, Genesis 38: 1-7, Hebrews 10, Hebrews 11, Isaiah 43: 24-28, Ezekiel 36: 33.

The primary reason Jesus came was about the bruising that iniquity causes. If you don't understand what iniquities are, you will continue to suffer in your spiritual life.Inquires sets a pattern that makes you a sinner. Jesus came to set up a new pattern; a pattern of obedience to do the will of God. Until you confess, you have not activated your account. You know about your sins forgiven, but you don't know about the bruising.

You need to know what your rights are. If don't know what they are, the devil will convince you on something else. You've got to activate your account. If you don't activate your account, how will you get what you want. No matter how long you pray, if you don't activate your account, things won't change and you will remain in the same place. Iniquities will cause you to delay the promises of God in your life. Some of the things we are struggling with is based on iniquities.

Everything in the kingdom of God changes by the activation of God's word. What God tells you, you say it back to him. God wants us blessed, so that people can say you can live a godly life and prosper. But if you don't make that connection, you are stuck. If you don't activate your account, you will be miserable. You have the credit but you can't use it because you haven't activated it. When the power of iniquities gets shattered, God will work with and through you.

E can stand for empty for you, but for God it stands for enough.

Serving the Lord Within A Corrupt System

By Pastor Drew Ugbogbo

"Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord. Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him." - 1 Samuel 2:12, 3:7

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 2, 3; Revelation 3:20

How do you live in a system that is so corrupt and still stand out? To be corrupt means to behave badly or to do things in the wrong and dishonest way.

Sin has a way of searching us out. Whenever you have a desire to serve God, He would have the desire to come after you. Samuel refused to be influenced by the things of the world, he refused to allow peer pressure get to him. Sins like theft, violence, illicit sex and others were common in the times of Samuel. Sin has eyes, ears and mouth.

It is important to start training children early. Everything we do in life has a reward. The consequences of sin is death.

The consequences of the sins include spiritual darkness, judgement, God's wrath. premature death amongst others but the benefit of serving God are exhortation, anointing, wonder, excellence, success, protection and others

You need to re-purpose your heart to serve God. It pays to serve Him!
