The Pathway to Greatness

Leaving Your Now To Your Next

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!”(which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly." - Mark 7:31-35 (NIV)

Bible Reading: Mark 5:20, Hosea 1:10

Your Now isn't a place for you to stay put. Every time you get to your now, there's a provision for your next. You have to be ready to leave your now and move on to your next for you to experience a change. Until you release your past, you cannot reach your future.

There is a place humanity cannot take you but divinity can. Location and positioning are very important. Sometimes, you have to separate people from those around them to help them. When God wants to do something special with/for you, he separates you from certain places/faces. Don't be afraid if it seems like you are alone, God is about to do something special.

Your Next is where Jesus takes over. To move to your next, you have to allow God take total ownership of your life. Let Go and Let God.

Greatness 3

by Pastor Andrew Bawa

“For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall – 2 Samuel 22:30

Bible Reading: Psalms 23:5, 1 Samuel 16:13-18

Anointing enables you to do what you have been gifted for. The oil of favour brings you into the presence of God. Once you are gifted, all you need is the anointing.

The day Samuel anointed David, that day David stepped into his greatness. The oil was poured on David and he never went back to his rearing sheep. Anointing sets you on the path of greatness.

Prayer Points

  • I remove whatever will make your anointing not work in my life.
  • Father, as I am anointed, let your grace be released on me and launch me into my greatness

Greatness 2

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work." - 1 John 3:8

Bible Reading: Genesis 11:30-31, Genesis 12:1-2, Luke 10:41, 1 Chronicles 17:19

To manifest is to show forth, to enlighten and to illuminate. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. That was His purpose and it was manifest on the cross.

Jesus knew His purpose, He knew His assignment. The secret to your greatness lies in the discovery of your assignment. There is an assignment wired specifically for you. Do you know your assignment?

Why are you here?

When you know your assignment, you will be willing to leave everything for it. Your assignment is your purpose. To be great, you must know your assignment. You must know it and you must let it intoxicate you.

No great person is normal. Great people never fit the status quo. Keep away from people that try to belittle your ambitions. There is nothing wrong with being misunderstood. Several great people were misunderstood. To be great is to be misunderstood. The more people understand you, the more limited you are.

You have the passcode for the future of this generation. You carry something, and for that reason, you will not die until you fulfil that purpose.

You are wired for greatness. Whether you get there or not is not up to God, it is up to you. Anytime there is a vision, there will always be a provision from God.

Do you have a vision? do you know your purpose? do you know your assignment?

Prayer Points

  • Father, I refuse to die a mediocre!
  • Lord, I refuse to die in Haran, I am going to my Canaan!
  • Lord, do great things in my life because I am on the path of greatness
  • Father, in my life, in the assignment you gave me, reveal/manifest your greatness now!
  • I am more than this. I am greater than this. I destroy anything stopping me from stepping into my destiny!
  • Lord, in the name of Jesus, I give my lingering assignment an expiry date!
  • Father, Give me a fresh vision of my assignment!
  • Lord, reveal my NEXT NOW!

The Pathway to Greatness

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"David went to Nob, to Ahimelek the priest. Ahimelek trembled when he met him, and asked, “Why are you alone? Why is no one with you?” David answered Ahimelek the priest, “The king sent me on a mission and said to me, ‘No one is to know anything about the mission I am sending you on.’ As for my men, I have told them to meet me at a certain place.” - 1 Samuel 21:1-2

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 23:1,8,39; Psalms 69:5-9

There is no great person in life without a scar. Every great person has a story. Your true test of greatness is determined by what you are able to survive from.

To be great, you have to associate with greatness. When you know who you are, you are wired for greatness. You will not settle for less.

Greatness has nothing to do with fame. There is a greatness that is set by heavenly standards. Anyone that seeks to be great must first be humble.

Everything you need to be great is already within you. If it is not in you, it cannot come out. If you do not recognize that God wants you to be great, you will remain mediocre. Great people do not settle for mediocrity.

The more your enemies, the greater you are. The size of your enemies determines how great you are. Anybody that is going to be great will be weird even amongst family members.

You are destined for greatness. Don't settle for less.
