Acceleration by grace

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And Mordecai had brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. The young woman was lovely and beautiful. When her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter." Esther 2: 7 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Acts 17, 2 Corinthians 2: 14.

Grace can be your parents. God is always in the business of moving and doing things. Even when things look like they are at a stand still, God is not on a stand still. Everyday, God is in the business of doing something. God is a progressive God. He is always accelerating. If you serving an accelerating God, then your life should be accelerating as well.

Acceleration is dependent on grace not circumstances. You need the grace to speed and the grace to stop. Life is a life of race. Whether you are moving or not, life is moving. How fast are you going on the race of life (destiny)? In the race of life you can't go far when you are injured

The 8 steps of acceleration if you want to go far in life. They are the things that you need to work on the inside of you.

1. Choice. The choice you make in life determines if you are accelerating at the right direction or the wrong one. Choices affect your speed.

2. Clarity. You need clarity to make progress. Lack of clarity makes you go slow in life.

3. Concentration. You need focus. If you are not focused on life, your life will go out of focus.

4. Character. Lack of focus is a result of lack of character. Lack of character is a lack of discipline.

5. Confidence. You can't drive without confidence (boldness). Confidence can make you scale through when things are failing. Confidence comes by grace.

6. Confidant. Your confidant is there with you whether you go up or go down. A Chinese adage says to go fast, go alone but to go far, go with a team.

7. Charisma.

8. Creativity. To go fast and far you need to be creative.

God, in my dry places

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds." Numbers 17: 8 (NKJV).

Bible Readings: 1 Kings 17, Ezekiel 37: 11, 2 Kings 6, Psalms 29: 10, Isaiah 40.

Dryness is a reality that comes in life. Everybody goes through a dry phase. You may be going through your dryness because it's a season. What happens when your life is experiencing dryness? When you go through dryness, you can do anything.

The worse part is experiencing dryness without God. The season of dryness is not the issue, it is what you are doing during that period and those that are around you. People cause dryness so if you are with those type of people, you will experience dryness. Who do you run to when things are dry? If God is in that dry situation, it will cause it to become wet. If God is in it, there is grace. If God can be in the centre of your heart, even though the situation seem dry, God can change it overnight. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

- Every time dryness is there, find out if God is with you.

- If you are in tune with God, prophecy into that dryness/ situation.

If you allow God step in, dryness disappears. When you are walking without direction, it causes dryness.

Pentecost

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place." Acts 2: 1 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Acts 2: 17, Proverbs 29: 18, Habakkuk 2, Ephesians 1: 17-18, Habakkuk 3:2,

Pentecost is the birth of a church. The coming of the Holy Ghost gave birth to the church. The beginning of Pentecost is the beginning of the Holy Ghost. We are in the latter days of the last days. The Holy Ghost came to give us a new meaning, hope and life. The Holy Ghost came so that young men shall see vision. Are you living the vision?

Vision is what brought you to where you are. A mental picture of your future. The reason why things are not working for you is because you are not walking in your vision. The Holy Ghost came to show you the picture of what you can do. Vision is not of this earthy realm. Your vision is given to you in high speed that your natural language cannot understand and the speaking in tongues is given to speak your future. It is not about your age but what you carry.

The young people see the possibility, purpose, and uncharted territory. If you can see it God will feel in you and the Holy Spirit to actualize it. If God can show it to you he can give it to you. God will not allow you to see it without giving it to you. Stretch your imaginations. If you see it God will give it to you. When you see do you believe it? Vision interprets whatis in the supernatural to the natural. What is it God told you he will give you this year? On this day of Pentecost do you believe it?

⁃ Believe: God can only work if you believe it. The Holy Ghost is the translator of Vision. Whateve you see God gives you. You will carry a takeover mentality. When you looks round you what do you see? Whatever you are able to solve is apart of what you Really created to solve

⁃ Behave it: If you believe it then start acting like you do. Once you believe and start behaving it, people will leave you. You lose them because they were not meant for your vision. Cut away from the people in your past. Some can only relate to where you were, not where you are going. Some could only relate when you spoke the same language.

⁃ Become it: whatever you believe as long as you behave it, very soon you start manifesting it; you become it. God gave us Pentecost to become what he destined for us to be. There is a groaning inside of you that is a language of your tomorrow. This is who you are believe it and start acting it.

All things are possible to those who believe.

Strategies for success: Take action

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighbouring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates." Deuteronomy 1: 6-7 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Deuteronomy 2: 3, Psalms 100: 2, Psalms 23: 5, John 5, John 9: 4, 2 Thessalonians 3: 10, Psalms 22: 29, John 6: 12.

Man finds himself going around in circles. You are doing the same thing ove and over again. We begin to rely on fate (luck). Success is intentional. You keep going in circles and you don't make any advancement. Going by this your activity does not match your allocation. As long as you keep going in circles you get no where. Are you getting the results you should get? What you get by luck, disappears luckily.

Roaming is wandering aimlessly with no focus. It is doing something and having no focus. Is your routine leading you to good success? A day is all that matters. You can tell where a person will end up by their way of life, the choices they make and the friends they keep. Success is a choice and poverty is also a choice. You can't make horrible choices and expect a miracle. Only a fool does the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

A breakthrough cannot occur when you refuse to break away. Success is all about sacrifice. Activity doesn't equal action. Sweating doesn't make you successful. Stop giving flimsy excuses. All you need is God on your side. Taking action without making progress doesn't lead you to your destination. How is what you are doing right now, moving you to your goal? Where are you headed?

Stop going around and start going forward. Stop procrastinating. Stop living a pitiable life. Success is not in talking. Many people say they are waiting on God whereas, God is waiting for them. After you have done all, stand.

Stop talking about what you want to do and take acton on what you are called to do!

Strategies for success: Faith

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11: 6 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Romans 12: 3, Matthew 15, Hebrews 11: 1, Mark 11: 22, Proverbs 16: 9, Daniel 11: 32.

Success is your birthright but you need faith to access it.

Faith is that connect grace and power that links you to make whatever you are wired to, to come to pass. The purchasing power to get the blessings and promises of God is faith. To succeed, all you need is faith. Faith is simple! It is trust in God. Have the God kind of faith. Have the trust that is of God. Trust your maker and creator. When you trust God, it means you have faith in God. It doesn't take God anything to change situations. All you have to is trust him that he can do whatever you want. You can't throw God and go back to him when you like. God wants total and absolute dependence on him. You cannot lie to God. He sees your heart.

If you have lost something, God is the reason why you have not lost everything. People don't know how to trust God. You cannot use your physical strength and common sense, and expect God to answer. It takes faith to believe that Jesus has saved you.

The reason why you have not received that blessing from God is because you don't trust him. You can only trust someone you know. So to trust God, you have to know him. The reason why you are not getting things from God is because you don't know him in that area. The reason why you don't trust God is because you don't know him enough.

What part of God do you know? You can know him by a relationship in the place of the word and in the place of prayer.

Strategies for success: Focus

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3: 13-14 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Acts 21: 12.

We live in a generation where everybody wants to get into someone else's business. A generation where people want people in their business. The world is not interested in what is going on in your life, but you somehow let the world know. It's hard for people to stay out of your business if you invite them in. If you want to succeed in life, you must stay out of everybody's business and mind yours. Focus takes you from your vision and translates it to mission and that takes you to the mountain top.

Without focus, you are never going to make it. You have to forget about everything and focus. A lot of people are focused on tomorrow that they don't do anything today and they end up never seeing the tomorrow. Success is not luck but focus! If you want to be a star, you must be focused enough on that star without letting any other thing distract you. Whatever you want to achieve, you must be focused if not, you can never achieve it.

Lack of focus, makes you a failure. If you focus on so many things at the same time, the best you can be is average. Stay at your duty post! A lot of people will distract you and make you look down on what you want to do.

If you have discovered your assignment, that is called vision. If you are pursing your assignment, that is called mission. If you are not distracted from your assignment, that is called focus.

When you are focused

⁃ Don't be discouraged

⁃ Don't worry about the storms

⁃ Until you fulfil your destiny, nothing can destroy you.

⁃ Delay is never denial

Prayer

⁃ Lord, give me grace to be focused.

Strategies for success: Stretch

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible. Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her." Luke 1: 36-38 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Luke 1: 56, Hebrews 5: 14, John 1: 1-3.

To succeed you have to stretch.

There is a price to pay for every greatness and success. Success comes with a maturity. Success is an all around blessing.

To grow to the level God wants you to get to, you must exercise. You have to learn to exercise through the word of God. Anytime you don't exercise, you can easily be injured or hurt. Have you ever stretched yourself in the spirit? What is the price you are willing to pay to not be hurt and be in shape? When God sent you here, he dint send you to be a failure. You are a winner, a success, you are more than a conqueror. It doesn't matter what you are called, God has made you a success.

If God can do it for one, he will do it for another. If you see it in the word, it will manifest in your world. It is time for you to stretch. Success will stretch you to do things that you are not used to. Certain things, until you experience it, you can't become it. God wants you to go where success lies. Wherever great people meet, there is a connection. Success locates its connection. In the inside of you, you carry greatness and the only reason why it hasn't come out, is because you haven't stretched.

Strategies for success: Pursuing his presence

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3: 2-3 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: John 3: 1-6, Luke 4: 17, Psalms 82: 6, Matthew 28: 10.

Laws are universal. Principles are spiritual laws.

To be successful, you must pursue God's presence. Life doesn't give you what you desire, it gives you who you are. Life doesn't give you what you desire, it gives you what you place a demand for. Before you can get what someone else gets, you have to understand what they have. When you become who you are meant to be, you will do what you need to do. The only person in they bible that is a success is Jesus. You can't be successful if you don't follow Jesus.

The presence of God brings transformation. It's all about the womb of life of where you are but a time comes when you are supposed to move to another womb. You can't be doing the same thing over and over again and expect something different. It's about the being. No matter how much you try to cover it, it will come out.

The number one thing to do to be successful is to seek first the kingdom of God and all other things will be added. Look for the source. Go to his presence. You have to become like him. When you do that, you will know who he is and whose you are. If you carry his nature, you are permitted to be like him and get what he gets. The reason why you are not getting what you desire is because instead of going for the source, you are going for the substance. If you come to church for the wrong reasons, you will not be successful.

If you see yourself how God sees you, then you can do what you are supposed to do. Some have failed to do what they are supposed to do because they have refused to see whose they are. If you know that you carry the DNA of God, you can do what he does. If you are what Jesus is, then you will get what he gets.

Success is not about material things but about inner fulfilment.

Strategies for success: Pursuing the purpose of God for your life

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, But a man of understanding will draw it out." Proverbs 20:5 (NKJV).

You are built and designed for worship. You live to worship God.

Purpose is the why of you. You can't be successful without finding your purpose in life: your nature of why you exist. Life is meaningless because people are not living in the why of their life. Some people are doing what other people are doing and expect God to answer them. We expect God to pay for what he is not sending us to do. When you follow his purpose his presence goes with us everywhere. When you are not in your why, you begin to do the how. If you don't deploy yourself to living your purpose, someone will employ you.

- You are naturally built with your purpose in you. You have to discover what you are suppose to do.

- You are designed for your purpose in mind. It is not about your size, it is about your destiny. When you understand your why, you'll stop following other peoples' why.

- Your purpose is embedded in your potential. God does not send someone to accomplish a thing without strength to do it. What you can do is in your purpose.

- Purpose reveals God's purpose for your life. You have to know whose purpose the plan you are living now, is fulfilling.

- His purpose attracts his provision. You cannot expect God to provide when you are working in a different purpose. If you want God's provision, stay in his purpose for your life.

Discover your purpose from the word of God.

Strategies for success: Marked out for success

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 3 John 2 (NKJV)

Bible Readings:  1 Thessalonians 5: 23, Proverbs 23: 27, Proverbs 18: 21, Proverbs 6: 2, Job 22: 21.

People want to be successful but they don't know it's not about the physical appearance.

When success shows up, you will know it. It's not based on what you do or how you are dressed. You success is not based on your location but your allocation. Success is a state of who you are. It is your nature, your DNA.

You have to understand that you are a success even before you were born. Your soul has already been programmed to succeed. It doesn't matter what your present state is.

Success is not in doing but in becoming. It's better you believe it and become it because whether you like it or not, you are already successful. You become whatever you are thinking. Whatever you call is what you get.

Change your perspective. Relocate your mindset.

A man's worth is not in what he gathers but who he is. Stop being myopic in yourself.  Success is whose you are! If you change the way you see yourself, people will change the way they see you.

Strategies for success: The cost for success

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; for by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Wisdom is too lofty for a fool; he does not open his mouth in the gate." Proverbs 24: 3-7 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Proverbs 24: 10, Luke 14: 25-33, Deuteronomy 18: 20.

Success comes with a cost. It comes with a price you have to pay. Success is fame, wealth, achievements, impact, family, fulfilment, riches, health. It is an achievement of a certain or desired goal. If you don't have a desired goal, even if you achieve it, you actually haven't achieved anything. Success is what God has designed or placed for you to achieve.

Success has nothing to do with what you acquire but your assignment. You need wisdom to acquire success. Anybody who is wise is successful. If you want to become like the master, you must become an apprentice to learn the way it is done.

Jesus said if you want to be successful (like him), you must take up your cross and follow him. To be successful in life, get ready for battle. A life of success is not an easy one. There are several things that follow a person who will be successful. Success can never be attained when you are looking back.

There are 7 things you must kiss goodbye to be successful;

⁃ Family: because a man's enemies are his families. Your family will always tell you how little you are. They belittle you. Until you finish your assignment and achieve something, kiss your family goodbye. There is wickedness of the wicked in your family.

⁃ Friends: the reason why you haven't risen to where you should be is because you refused to leave your friends.

⁃ Familiarity: the places you know. You must leave your area. You must step out by faith into something that is not familiar.

⁃ Fantasy: you knowing you can't achieve something but yet you want to do it. Get something achievable.

⁃ Love of fame: some people who are famous are not successful. Being famous doesn't mean you are successful.

⁃ Fear: if you want to step out, step out by faith.

⁃ Offences: if you want to be successful in life, people will offend you but you must be willing to love.

Prayer

⁃ Grace to kiss this things goodbye, father give to me.

⁃ Grace to pat every price in life, father give it to me.

Resurrection Day

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen." Mark 16: 1-2 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Mark 16: 1-6, John 20: 14-17, Luke 24: 30, Matthew 3, John 19, Matthew 28, Galatians 2: 20.

Spices is what was used to perverse dead bodies to prevent them from decaying. The myrrh given to Mary when Jesus was born is spices used on things that were dead. The more respected a person is, the more spices used.

The resurrection of Jesus is the message of Christianity. The day he died is not the issue. The reason why myrrh was brought to Jesus on his birth because they were prophesying his death. Even though Jesus said he would resurrect after 3 days, some people went to buy spices even though they knew that spices had already been used; because their faith was shaken from their experience of his crucifixion.

People sometimes know your story, they knew where you were yesterday. Then they show up because they feel they know about your tomorrow. People don't generally like to rejoice when you rejoice but when they hear negative things about you, then they mourn with you. When something good happens, they stay away but when something bad happens they come around.

Spices are very bitter. Why do you bring your bitter heart into those gatherings? What is in your heart towards people? Why do you always want to remind people of their past? Why are you not happy when good things happen to others?

When you were in a bed place, people associated with you but now that the heavens have opened for you, they wants to be around you. Don't come to my grave and tell me am good. Tell me now that I am alive! Stop going to people who separated from you. They are not interested in your new state. You will know the people that truly love you when you start arising. Everybody you see doesn't necessarily love you.

No limitation! No boundary!

Triumphant Entry

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" Mark 11: 9-10 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Mark 11: 1-10, Zechariah 9: 9, John 12: 24, Luke 19: 28, Numbers 19.

Today began the day Jesus entered Jerusalem about 2000 years ago. He decided to use a young donkey which is what only kings and important people used.

There comes a time in your life that you need to realize that you are extraordinary and you carry something big inside of you. The fact that someone has been operating on the level of a common person doesn't mean you should look down on them. Sometimes life seems so hard that you start to wonder if God is really there. Sometimes you want an assurance that he is God and you want to know when he is going to show up. The bible says weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning, but the question is how long is the night?

Jesus only used the colt (donkey) once. During the Holy Week, he didn't use it again. The colt is not meant to be tied but meant to be used. The colt is meant for a journey. Some of us has been living in a kind of life and we have become conditioned to think that is how we are supposed to live. There is a prophecy over your life and you might not know it. Jesus is supposed to seat on you but life has tied you and that is not making that happen. You are sent on an assignment and a mission.

The following are the things that can tie you; society, culture, traditions, banks (loans & debt), jobs, schools etc.

You are tied in things you cannot come out of. It's one thing for you to tie yourself it's another thing for you to entangle yourself with hatred, malice, bitterness, gossip, unforgiveness. You are supposed to be free but you are not. The reason why you are tied is because hell has seen the prophecy you carry. Jesus cannot climb you if you are bound. Don't mistaken the fact that because you're in church, you're free.

Today (Palm Sunday) is the day that Jesus has come to free us.

Its time to Take Over your Territory

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance. 14 Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel. " Joshua 14: 13-14 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Joshua 14: 6-15, Deuteronomy 9: 1-5, Psalms 128: 8, 1 Samuel 2, Hebrews 13: 8, Matthew 20: 20, Romans 2: 28-29, 1 Samuel 3: 9, 2 Chronicles 20: 22, John 1: 16, Ephesians 1: 3, Genesis 6: 4.

Territory could mean any area of your life, and even though it is yours, until you desire it, it will not come to you. When it's time for you to take over your territory, it's not time for you to relax, it is not business as usual. Sometimes, the devil steals your territory from you and you have to take it back.

Sometimes, God will tell you to do something but you are too scared and instead you go about helping other people achieve their own vision. You can never take over by getting the minimum. You cannot take over your territory by working for someone else. You have to come to a time where you come to your senses and go to the mountain.

Mountain is a place of elevation; a place where anyone in the valley is under you; where the eagle mentality comes from. At the mountain is where the cross of Jesus was. The prayers prayed at the mountain is easily answered. Your destiny is being built and managed by giants which means it is too big for dwarfs. You do not belong to where the pig are, you are to take the land.

The dreams that you saw, God is saying that it is a mental picture of your future and that future is NOW! It is time for you to take what God showed you. As long as you don't challenge it, you can't get what God showed you.

Praise needs to meet at a place of circumcision. Until your praise is circumcised, it is not heard. The circumcision is not on the outside (physical), it's on the inside (spiritual). Circumcision is a gateway to your possession. You must get to a place where you surrender your flesh. Stop trying to make things happen by your strength.

Financial issue, marriage and any area or your life can be a giant in your land and you have to fight and take over it. Until you take over, your generation will not rest.

Prayer: Father any situation in my life that is not right,  Lord change it.

Possessing the Land (The Next Generation)

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.” So Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran according to the command of the Lord, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel." Numbers 13: 1-3 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Deut 18vs 15-18, Matt 11vs 21, John 1vs 21, Acts 7vs 37, Matt 10vs 1-8. Deut 1vs 3, Deut 1vs 19, John 15vs 16, 1Peter 2vs 9, Num 14vs 28,

Everything in the Old Testament is what is to happen in the New Testament. Everything in the Old Testament is pointing to Jesus; Christ concealed, while the New Testament is Christ revealed Jesus sent the disciples to declare and tell the world that the kingdom of God is here. Before Jesus came, God was silent for 400 years and before Moses, there was 400years of affliction.

There has to be a choosing of the twelve before they are sent out. God chose you & made you where you are today. He chose you to let you know you are not on your own. God chose you and he made you holy. After being chosen, he sent you, so therefore you are on an assignment. You are not in the land you are by your own doing but you are placed there on an assignment. When your purpose is accomplished, he will move you. God sent you to explore the land because he wants to give it to you.

God sends you to explore because he is not willing to give you what he hasn't exposed you to. He will not expose you to something he is not willing to give you. The main issue is the attitude you have in that exploration. You need the right attitude. You need to concentrate on what God is teaching you and not who is teaching it. Instead of complaining and murmuring, look for the reason why God sent you to where you are. God doesn't bring you to the land to be a stranger but to own it. It is your possession!

God sends you to explore because of your imagination. To get to where God wants you to be, you have to change your mindset. You cannot go into the new land with an old mindset. If God sends you with an old mentality, the new land will be destroyed. If you don't like where you are, you have to change your neighbourhood; the people you hang around with. You need to believe that nothing is impossible. You need to have faith in yourself and in God.

Don't give up because when you give up, he would raise a different generation. All you need is to have faith in God and you will possess the land. The next generation is one that is ready to change the world and that is what God is looking for. Are you that next generation? If you are that generation, your attitude is what gives you the land and it has to be the attitude of gratitude. Whatever thoughts God put in your mind, he wants you to do it. It is possible. God will not let you taste it, see it if he is not ready to give it to you.

If God asks you to do something, don't be afraid to do it. God did not bring you out to die in the wilderness.

Prayers:

⁃ Father give me the grace to have the right attitude.

⁃ Father give me a fresh and new mind.

⁃ Lord I am the next generation that is meant to possess this land, lord I have come & I will possess it because you have given it to me.

Possessing the Land

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, “Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many; whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds; whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes." Numbers 13: 17-20 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Numbers 13: 1-33, Jeremiah 29: 11.

To possess something means it is your right and inheritance. God has kept it for you. God has prepared a place for you and he sends you to see if it's a good place, just to see your reaction.

Whatever God prepares for you is good. When God prepares a table for you, instead of you to be grateful for it, you complain. God doesn't give anything bad. You reaction determines your possession. Once joy is missing, salvation is missing. Salvation is wealth, joy, health and peace.

The place to see your possession is in the place of prayer. If you miss the prayer, you don't possess. Anytime you know how to pray, you'll know how to succeed. When you go down in prayer, you will go up in life. You have to learn to pray for yourself.

When God gives you an instruction to do something and you decide to do your own, you'll see what you want to see. When you are on top of the mountain, every giant becomes small. Giant means fallen people so you shouldn't be intimidated.

Wilderness is a cursed place. When you go down to a cursed place, you cannot see blessings from that place.

You are not late to the game

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets." Hebrews 11: 32 (NKJV).

Bible Readings: 1 Timothy 6: 12.

Life is a game!

Life is like a game and people feel like when they don't make it initially, they are too late. Many people have been friendly at the first quarter of the year and the enemies have been taking advantage of you. The reason why you are being friendly with the devil in the first quarter is because you think everything will work out.

When you understand the gravity of what is ahead of you, you stop being too nice. Know when to, how to and where to be good. By the second quarter you become familiar. You are not in the game to be friendly or familiar, you are there to fight and finish. Along the line, in the third quarter, fear comes in and grips your heart and you start thinking about what you have done previously.

If you are going to win the battles, it's not because of you, but God will cause your enemies to make mistakes that will work in your favour. Those mistakes will make you start advancing in what you were not able to do in the previous quarters. In the forth quarter, you receive faith to finish. When everyone says you can't do it, somehow you have faith. You need faith that turns disadvantage to advantage. You may have faith to start but you also need faith to finish.

Today's complacency is tomorrow's captivity. Today's thankfulness, it's tomorrow's fruitfulness. Life doesn't give you what you desire but it gives you what you place a demand on.

In spite of your mistakes, there is a God of comeback.

Get ready for your turn around

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"He sent a man before them— Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom." Psalms 105: 17-22 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Psalm 126:1.

What do you need for things to turn around in your life?

You need a word from God. If the Word of the Lord shows up, shackles will break. The word for your turnaround is in the word.  He sends forth his word. If you believe the word, search the word and get the word. The word would work for you. Sometimes the closer you want to get to your dream that God has shown you, the farther you get. But wherever you are right now, God has kept you there.

Never allow anyone tell you what you should be. Never allow anyone look down on you and tell you what you should be. You are an eagle, don't let people push you down or define you. Don't settle for what you are not suppose to be.

You are meant to be a Joseph to make a way for other people to come in. As you make room for someone, God will make a way for you. There are emotional, marital, financial prisons that you put yourself and ones that the devil put you but you can come out of them.

When your word comes, you will break out and things will turn around for you.

Financial Dominion

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold." Genesis 13: 1-2 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: John 1: 16, Titus 2: 11, John 1: 1-14, Ephesians 1: 3, 2 Corinthians 8: 9, Colossians 3: 1, Colossians 2: 3,  Ephesians 2: 6, Genesis 1: 26, Revelation 17, Isaiah 60, Galatians 2: 20, Ephesians 1: 21, John 21: 15-19, Galatians 3: 29, Isaiah 51: 1, John 15: 16, Genesis 12, Exodus 12: 35-36, Galatians 3: 29, Galatians 3: 13.

To live in financial dominion is a choice. When you understand your right, you walk in it. The reason why the devil attacks is because you don't know your right. Not your right by your doing but by the covenant of grace. You live a life of dominion by the grace of God. Everything you see in the physical has a spiritual starting point. Grace made you rich. Everything you need is in Christ.

Financial dominion means you are in command. It also means that anytime you need it, it is there. You get to a place where you use it as you like and in understanding, you know how to spend. If you love money more that Christ, then it dominates you but if you love Christ  more than money, you dominate it. It is God that makes you rich. If you can know how to bring somebody to Jesus, you'll know how to dominate financially. It is not the number of jobs you do that makes you wealthy, it is God!

There are two principles to have financial dominion;
⁃ You understand that God is the source. It is your right by redemption and you are living in that heritage.
⁃ You start associating with successful people.

Egypt is a place of sin, death, sorrow, pain; so if you have left Egypt, the wealth is being converted to you. When God can trust you; he'll release everything you need. Anytime you are very rich it means you are weighting. When you are in riches, you are in glory. The only way you keep increasing your financial dominion is by giving. Keep sowing! Never look at what you are giving, look at what you are about to receive. Fix your eyes on the harvest.

Do you want to command finance or do you want to be commanded by finances?

Commission to increase

By Pastor Andrew Bawa

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous." Genesis 26: 12-13 (NKJV)

Bible Readings: Genesis 26: 1, Genesis 22: 12-18, John 6: 8-12, 2 Corinthians 9: 10.

Increase is to become greater or larger, to make great, to multiply. Commission is permission, to give licence, to be instructed, to be commanded.

You have been commissioned, designed, decorated, permitted, instructed to increase! You are increasing! Anytime God wants to bless, lift someone, he organizes an opportunity/ challenge for the increase to take place. When God want to set you up, he organize a dream that only you can interpret. When God wants to make you gallantly great, he organizes people to forget you. No matter the situation you are in, it's part of God's plan to get you to where you should be.

God in the mist of you, is mighty. God is organizing me! The way people are laughing at you and mocking you, it's part of the organization. All things are working together for your good. There are four things you have to do; Stay with him, surrender to him, submit to him and sow to him
The only side you submit to God is what he increases. Whatever you want God to increase, you have to surrender to God first. Whatever you want to increase has to bring glory to God.

God is the chief organizer!
